Why choose an alternative in dispute resolution?

ADR combats the current downfall in the Canadian Justice system. Court cases can takes several months to years to complete. Our mediators are ADR Professionals not lawyers and our fees are much less than what lawyers charge. Cases are solved amicably through a mediation or arbitration system that empowers the parties. Everyone gets a chance to produce their story and allow the other side to hear it. The environment is non adversarial and the mediator helps parties get past their positions and work on their interests. All cases before a mediator are absolutely confidential and legally binding. Parties agree to these terms before participating. Most often the relationship between the two parties is improved following the ADR process. Solutions stemming from ADR are often creative, always tailor made and quite often substantially more flexible than court imposed resolutions.
